  8. Sources of caffeine • Coffee, tea • Soft-drinks • Coke, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Jolt • Other forms • gotu kola • Guarana • Caffeine tablets i.e. No-Doz

  11. Decongestants • Pseudoephedrine • The best decongestant on the market • Limited sales due to the methamphetamine act • Phenylephrine • Doesn’t work very well

  12. Anabolic Steroid-like products • Androsteindione • The “Mark McGwire” drug • All but removed from the market

  13. D.H.E.A. • It is anabolic • It does cause steroid-rage • It is a health hazard for many people • It is available all over Lincoln

  14. St. John’s Wort • Not an effective Antidepressant • Does have multiple, potentially fatal drug interactions • Often our “best and brightest” try this one

  15. Stress and Sleeplessness • See all of the previous stimulants • Attention to stress is the best way to deal with this

  16. Sleep agents • Diphenhydramine • Dry mouth, dry eyes • BAD DRIVERS • Lasts nearly 8 hours
