  1. Your task is to create some 3D packaging which will hold four standard tennis balls. You should experiment with different 3D shapes but remember that you will need to minimise your costs in producing the packaging…

  2. You will have two lessons to investigate and reach a conclusion By the end of lesson 2 you must have produced a poster showing all your calculations and explaining which 3D shape you have chosen (and why)

  3. Assign the following roles to your team: Team Leader: To manage the team, ensuring everyone is Contributing to the task Scribe: To record all information and calculations clearly enough that someone who isn’t part of your team can follow what you have done Number Cruncher: To be in charge of carrying out any mathematical calculations. To ensure that answers are realistic and that no errors have been made Creative Director: To lead the team in coming up with ideasof what shape the packaging may take
