  3. Statistics • About 3 to 4 million have hearing aids: 12 to 17% of the hearing impaired population (SHHH) • Large portion of hearing aid users are 65+

  4. The Problem • Hearing aids are small! • Hearing aid parts are smaller! • Hearing aid clients are elderly and poor dexterity • This makes it difficult to • Open the battery door • Change the battery • Clean the hearing aid
