  2. About Xtreme Xtreme Residentials was started by a group of primary school teachers who felt that a more innovative approach to outdoor education was required. The First Centre The company’s initial venue was at Chillingham Park, an old secondary school, near to the river Tay. It consisted of a large building with 8 4 bed dormitories and a large barn for indoor climbing and team games. The local river provided an opportunity for water activities, such as canoeing, gorge walking and windsurfing. Expanding the Experience During the last few years, the aim has been to increase the number of centres, alongside widening the variety of activities available. The development of high ropes courses, at all seven centres across the country, has hugely increased our capacity. Looking to the future With additional venues opening in Thameswood and South Beybridge during summer 2013, as well as our first overseas centre in Avignon in France, Xtreme Residentials is quickly becoming the market leader in providing quality outdoor experiences for children.
