  1. Fly Fishing Lodge BC Fishing Lodge, British Columbia Canada: This unique Canadian fly fishing lodge vacation in British Columbia is yours to enjoy on 15 freshwater fishing lakes.

  2. Fly Fishing Lodge Vacation • A slow sinking fly line is very effective in fishing leeches, mayfly nymphs, caddis pupae, damselfly nymphs and water boatman and dragonfly nymphs. Slow sinking lines sink at a rate of 1.5 to 2 inches/second. This slow sinking nature allows flies to be retrieved on a very gradual angle off the lake bottom towards the surface of the lake which imitates well the natural movement of the insects or other food sources. Leaders should be between 9 and 12 feet in length when using this line.

  3. Lodge Services If you are a novice we will take the time to check out your fishing equipment and fly selection. We will make a few recommendations on best choice of fly to start with, teach you how to tie on a fresh leader or lend a back pack and raingear and make sure you are good to go. Larry will make sure you are clear on operating the small outboard motors that are available on three of our lakes.
