Place Ewe and Babies in freshly bedded jug with fresh water. Ewes that have not finished lambing need to be put into one of the rectangular pins on the south side of the barn. Ewes will not be fed for the first 24h post lambing. All feeding of ewes will be done by TSU Farm personnel.

AT 24 Hours OLD Punch a hole in the correct ear (Right Males, Left Females) with the Temple Tag Ear punch. The location of the hole should be 1/3 of the distance from the head Put the appropriate tag in the Lambs ear green ear tags are for the Black face lambs. Blue Tags are for the fine wool cross lambs.
At 24 Hours OLD Band the lambs tails Be sure to push the band as far forward as you can without catching the anal sphincter, or the vulva. Band should be even with or forward of the pelvic bones Use a clean needle and syringe each time you take enter the medicine bottle
Inject 2cc of CDT Sub Q Make a tent in the left shoulder pocket and inject the medicine subcutaneously Record all of the information in the appropriate columns in the black book, it should be located in the purple box.
