  6. Past Continuous We use Past Continuous when we talk about: • Two events/activities that happened during the same period of past time Example: • Sally was reading to the children while Kevin was washing up. Sally was reading to the children Kevin was washing up

  7. Past Continuous 2. When we focus on the progress of the activity, not as the completed action. Example: • This time yesterday I was flying over the Pacific. • Was she wearing that red dress when you saw her? I was flying over the Pacific This time -Today This time-Yesterday
