  3. Memory In science we had a memory test on a penny we had to draw a penny from our memory. Then we got one to see how good our memory was. We drew the penny three times and then we examined it.

  4. We learned that maps have a legend. I learned that maps are made to look round because the world is round too. The map is showing all of the 7 continents on the earth. Maps

  5. Your Five senses are smell, touch, taste, sight, and hearing. You use your five senses when you don’t even know it, like when you’re eating dinner or when you’re playing at a playground. If you aren’t using your five senses you’re not even breathing or moving. Five Sences

  6. Boundries There are two different kinds of boundaries, man-made and natural boundaries. Man-made boundaries are usually straight not curvy. Natural boundaries are usually made by lakes, rivers, and oceans. The boundaries around the United States has both natural and man-made boundaries.

  7. Magnifying Glasses We learned that the magnifying glasses have to be convex (curved) and transparent (clear). We used the magnifying glasses to magnify the penny on our memory test. The person who invented the magnifying glass was Anton Leeuwenhoek.

  8. American Revolution The first shot of the Revolution was fired in Lexington, Massachusetts, the battle there was between 700 colonial troops from the British and 75 colonial troops from Massachusetts. The British won at Lexington and moved on to Concord, Massachusetts.

  9. Water Cycle First the water cycle starts with a water vapor in the sky. Then they connect and make clouds. The clouds get to heavy and then they start to rain and make puddles and ponds and then it starts all over again.

  10. Solar System There are eight planets in our Solar System. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. The Sun is the center of the Solar System. Each planet orbits around the sun. The Earth orbits around the the Sun 365 days and 1\4.

  11. Weather The weather depends on air pressure, the humidity, and the temperature. If the humidity is almost one hundred percent the air is hot sticky and uncomfortable. If the humidity was low it would start to rain the air could still be hot but it is still raining
