  1. Why automatic fire suppression system is a must have for your building? Buildings are the most dangerous places for fires, right after factories and warehouses. Since buildings house a lot of flats, fire that catch at one spot can easily travel to other parts of the buildings with incredible speed. This is why, when it comes to buildings, it is extremely important to install proper fire suppressant systems to ensure safety of the building and the people present in it. What kind of fire suppressant system does your building need? It all depends on what type of building it is, or more specifically, what is the building used for? Your needs of a proper fire suppressant system depends a lot on what is housed within the building. If you have heavy machinery and factories housed inside, then you will need stronger and more advanced systems, like foam fire suppression systems. If it a building housing flats where people live, then you can do with fire sprinkler systems. But whatever the type of fire suppressant system it is that you choose, make sure you talk to the experts, giving them details about the building and you will get the best advice.

  2. The importance of automatic systems The importance of automatic systems The fire suppressant systems of modern days are generally automatic in nature, keeping the buildings safe even when there is nobody around to detect a fire. There are automatic smoke detectors attached to ceilings in most of the cases that automatically detect smoke from a distance, and alerts the whole system. Alarms are usually installed that alerts the inhabitants about the fire, so that they can evacuate and keep themselves safe, while the fire suppressants get to work in order to douse out the fire. Foam fire suppressants use more advanced technology to suppress fires, using chemicals to create a blanket of foam. Water sprinklers, on the other hand, use regular water from the water supply system of the building, applying the water at an enhanced pressure that is more effective to bring down the fire. Since one can never ensure that somebody is always around at the right spot to manually douse the fire, automatic fire suppression systems are a must and should be considered a basic safety measure for any building.
