  5. Pay $$$$ • Full time job • Part time job • You can get paid the following way • Hourly pay Regular time, overtime • Salaried • Commissions • Combination • ALL companies will provide you with some sort of benefits.

  6. Benefits • A form of compensation paid by employers to employees over and above the amount of pay specified as a base salary or hourly rate of pay. • Benefits are a portion of a total compensation package for employees.

  7. ProfitSharing • Plan that allows employees to receive a portion of the company’s profits at the end of the year. • Incentive pay: • money offered to encourage employees to strive for higher levels of performance. Paid Vacations and Holidays • Set amount of paid vacation time • Earn more after each year you work with a company • Examples • Christmas • Thanksgiving • Fourth of July • Labor Day • Memorial Day
