This project focuses on generating power using alternate sources, specifically through a mechanical system involving gears. By placing a shaft at the center of a gate and connecting spur and compound gears to the shaft, we harness mechanical energy caused by the rotation of the gates. This rotational force drives a dynamo, producing electric current that can be stored in a battery. Our goal is to effectively utilize previously wasted mechanical work to generate electricity. Materials used include copper, cast iron, and steel components, showcasing innovative engineering.

ABSTRACT:- • To produce power by using alternate source • The alternate source we used here is gear
INTRODUCTION: We are placing a shaft on the centre of the gate. • Gears are kept on the bottom of the shaft. • When the shaft rotates gear will also rotates. • The dynamo which is in contact with the gear will produce electric current .
MATERIALS USED: • COPPER • BEARINGS • CAST IRON • CIRCULAR STEEL PLATE • HOLLOW PIPE • SPUR AND COMPOUND GEAR
PURPOSE:- Since the mechanical work is wasted, we are using it to produce electricity
CONSTRUCTION:- • Four gates are attached to the centre of the shaft • Spur gear and compound gear are attached to the bottom of the shaft • Dynamo is attached to the gear
EXPLANATION:- • When the gate rotates, the shaft will also rotates • Gear which is attached to the bottom of the shaft will also rotates , inturn dynamo also rotates, by the way current is produced • current is stored in battery.
ADVANTAGES:- • Mechanical work is used • Power is produced
