  17. Digital Data – Online Audiences V12 Group works with a large network of match partners that match consumers to anonymous cookies. As consumers self-identify via email or postal address on a match partners site, the match is made, and all PII is stripped from the cookie. The cookie is then loaded with all pre-identified segments (i.e. Audi Driver, Wealth, etc.) the consumer was scored into offline, and sent to our partners for online audience targeting. Built from a large, nationally representative sample of self-reported incomes, the Income Estimate was modeled using patented algorithm technology and is ideal for locating households with earnings in excess of $250,000. Discretionary Spending Index Measures the amount of money households have left for spending after they meet their basic needs for food, housing and clothing. DSI enables precise identification of prospects who have the financial capacity to make a purchase.   20. Consumer Package Goods (CPG) V12 Group uses purchase-level CPG data from offline CPG data sources. Leveraging a proprietary algorithm, we model the original attributes across the rest of our 208 million consumer records to create a one-of-a-kind CPG database. This unique methodology finds high-indexing “look-a-like” buyers for each of the 130 CPG segments giving marketers highly accurate categories to target - at scale - for branding and direct response campaigns alike. Methodology How we built V12 Group CPG Data: we leveraged several best-in-class offline CPG data sets to create a highly accurate core audience of consumer packaged goods buyers. We then expanded the available universe of users by examining: demography, household size, lifestyle, life-stage, etc. For example, a low-income household with four or more people would likely purchase more economical products and brands. Category Selection We categorize users based on their propensity to be a purchaser of a given product. Only users that index  at 5x are eligible  included into any of the 130 CPG segments. Ensuring Accuracy The CPG data is overlaid on V12 Group’s entire database of 260+ offline data attributes to further ensure the highest levels of accuracy.  This critical step helps to differentiate between someone who splurges on only one type of product, such as high end hair care products but is frugal elsewhere versus someone who consistently purchases luxury products across the board.  By factoring in other purchase and interest data points, we are able to be more definitive with our category assignment.
