Meeting Agendas • The best way to keep you and everyone else on track. • All types of agendas for all types of meetings. • Range from formal meeting agendas to informal list of topics.
Meeting Agendas • They keep the same basic pattern. • General idea: keep it simple! • Three major parts: • Reports • Business • Activity
CEC’s • Get with your Leadership Team to create an agenda for your next chapter meeting, plan for upcoming events. • Make sure committee chairs and officers are prepared for their reports. • Answer the following questions as a team: • WHY should your members attend the meeting? • HOW are you going to get them there?
Execution • Present the Agenda • Projector, white board, handout. • Have multiple people speak, such as event chair for their event, a vice chief about the next Lodge event, etc. • Make sure everyone talking is prepared with information, flyers, and whatnot.
Fun & Fellowship • Two ways to make your meetings great • Where: pick a place outside of your normal meeting spot • What: Include an activity that is hands on or interesting Examples, Ideas?
Games • Great way to end your Chapter Meeting • Team building opportunity • (If you’ve ever done COPE – think of that kind of things) • Classical games • Mix it up – avoid doing the same thing every meeting • Newer arrowmen may enjoy simpler games
