  2. Introduction • On November 21, 2008 the “I Phone Killer” was suppose to be released. • Verizon wireless and Research In Motion (RIM) makers of BlackBerry phones had been preparing this phone in response to Apple’s I Phone for about two years now.

  4. BlackBerry Storm • BlackBerry’s First ever touch screen phone Smartphone. • 3.2 Megapixel camera • Internet capability • Text and video messaging • Most highlighted feature is the tactile feedback from keyboard.

  5. Problems that Occurred • Sales • Verizon Wireless spent $100 million dollars on marketing the BlackBerry Storm. • Delay on release. • Only sold half a million phones since released.

  7. Conclusion • RIM Plans to release more software updates to fix customer complaints. • Overall they are satisfied with the outcome of their product and feel that glitches were to be expected with new devices. • Its all about the individual customer.
