R15. Water Cycle. Evaporation Condensation Precipitation. Liquid → Gas L iquid water changes into water vapor, which is gas. Gas → Liquid Water vapor cools and changes from a gas to a liquid. Clouds form by this process.

R15 Water Cycle • Evaporation • Condensation • Precipitation • Liquid → Gas Liquid water changes into water vapor, which is gas. • Gas → Liquid Water vapor cools and changes from a gas to a liquid. Clouds form by this process. • Occurs when rain, snow, sleet, or hail falls from the clouds onto Earth’s surface.

It comes from precipitation that soaks into the ground.
