Understanding the Water Cycle: Evaporation, Condensation, and Precipitation

Dive into the fascinating water cycle with Kara and Maggie as they explore the processes of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. When air cools, water vapor condenses into tiny droplets, forming clouds. As these droplets gather and grow heavier, they fall to Earth as precipitation. Following rainfall, the sun heats puddles, causing water to evaporate back into vapor. Fun fact: when salty ocean water evaporates, it leaves the salt behind, resulting in purified water! Discover how these processes work together in our natural world!

  1. WATER CYCLE!! : ) EVAPORATOIN, CONDENSATOIN, PRESIPATATOIN     By: Kara And Maggie

  2. Condensation When the air gets colder water vapor from the evaporation process turns into tiny droplets of water. These little droplets clump together to create a cloud. This process is called condensation. In the picture condensation has gathered on a leaf. K.N.C M.E.M

  3.  Precipitation  As condensation continues, the small water droplets get heavier and larger. Until finally, they fall to the earths surface. This is called precipitation. K.N.C M.E.M

  4. Evaporation First, it rains and leaves puddles on the ground. When the sun comes out the water turns to gas and evaporates. The suns heat speeds up the evaporation process. The picture shows the process.            K.N.C. M.E.M

  5. Fun Fact Time!!!  When salty ocean water evaporates it leaves the salt behind leaving the water purified!!!!!!!!! K.N.C M.E.M
