  4. Since January 2006: • CMS approved us on 31.1.06 • UK Funding agency approved releasing contingency to build GCT on the 17.2.06 but requested details on project planning and budget contingency, which were provided in March 07. Grant letter arrived in April 06 and we started procurement of GCT components + Paying back fund borrowed. • The project went through a period of GCT internal reviews which finalized the design + a CMS review in March 06. GCT Status, C. Foudas, Imperial College, London

  5. Where do we stand now • We are funded since the end of April 06  • We have a clear plan to deliver GCT  • The software organization/integration is complete  • All schematic capture is finished  • Source Card Lay out is finished  • All other designs are at layout • Critical FPGAs and all Optical Components in hand  • Procurement of parts has already started (Source Card) and will continue with the rest. GCT Status, C. Foudas, Imperial College, London

  6. Immediate Plans: • Finish Layout for all cards and produce prototypes • Immediate Milestones to be met: (1) Source Card testing + RCT integration by July 06 (2) Leaf Card testing and integration with Source Card by August 06 (3) Produce the first Concentrator Prototypes in August 06 GCT Status, C. Foudas, Imperial College, London

  7. Continue now with the details of each of our designs……… GCT Status, C. Foudas, Imperial College, London
