  2. MINERAL EXPLORATION • 23rd of October 2009 • Granitis, Falakro Mountain, Region of Drama, Greece • a delegation of the partner school of Antwerp - Belgium visited our Institute from 21st to 25th of October 2009 and also visited an open air excavation area and a factory of white marble

  3. Design and Creation of the Jewels • nine jewels with volcanic stone, rough diamonds and amber have been designed and created in laboratory during October, November and December 2009 for the 2nd year Comenius Travelling Exhibition from the students : • Iasonas Kampanis • Ioannis Karapeidis • Kiriakos Miltiadous • Aggeliki Palia • Telis Parlapounis • Georgia Stamataki • Eleonora Feleki • Despoina Fylli • Klea Weibel

  4. 4th VISIT of the COMENIUS TRAVELLING EXHIBITION • five students and one professor visited the 2nd year Comenius Travelling Exhibition in Saint-Amand Montrod, France, from 17th to 21st of January 2010

  5. 4th VISIT of the COMENIUS TRAVELLING EXHIBITION • the students had an interesting experience at the partner school “Lycee Professionel Jean Guehenno” with workshops in stone setting and in enamel

  6. 2nd COMENIUS TRAVELLING EXHIBITION in THESSALONIKI • the presentation of the 2nd year Comenius Travelling Exhibition in Thessaloniki took place from 19th to 21st of March 2010 • two delegations of the partners schools of Valenza - Italy and Porto - Portugal was present during the opening day • the delegations of the partners schools, who stayed in Thessaloniki from 17th to 21st of March 2010, had in our institute a conference - workshop about the techniques of laminations and mokume

  7. 5th VISIT of the COMENIUS TRAVELLING EXHIBITION • three students and one professor visited the 2nd year Comenius Travelling Exhibition in Namur, Belgium, from 27th of May to 1st of June 2010 and they also visited the partner school “IATA Institute”

  8. We thank all the partners of the Comenius Project “When the Stone becomes a Jewel” for the interesting experience and the good collaboration
