The archive collections represent the organisations corporate memory One of the most heavily used business collections in the world; representing HSBC and many of the banks which have been acquired by HSBC and its predecessor companies Annual reports; committee minutes; correspondence, strategic files and papers; accounting and customer ledgers Personal letters, diaries, photographs, cartoons, films, advertising, banknotes, architectural drawings, Oral history interviews In both hard copy and soft copy (digital) formats. Select, appraise, describe and preserve historical archives in line with international archival standards eg, International Standard for Archival Description ISAD (G), PD 5454:2012 Develop global and regional policy and procedures in line with best practice Subject matter expertise in heritage and history of the Bank Research, presentation, writing and publications expertise HSBC Archives
