Life at Mawson... • Two-minute showers every second day • Lock down during Blizzards • Chores roster including vacuuming, kitchen duty and unloading supplies • Every person visiting the station must undertake special training before they leave Australia • It takes 10 to 12 days to reach Mawson direct from Hobart by ship
