Today’s Lunch Menu: Hot Buffet: Asian chicken Grill: steak & cheese grinders Grab & Go: assorted sandwich boats, assorted grinders (including ham, turkey, tuna, pepperoni, salami or roast beef), small salad, large salad (including teriyaki chicken, ham, turkey or tuna), Colombo Yogurt Deli: individually made grinders and sandwiches (including ham, turkey, tuna, pepperoni, salami or roast beef)

  3. Career Center News The Burlington Fire Department is looking for Fire and EMS Cadets! To be a Fire Cadet for the Burlington Fire Department you must be between the ages of 14-17. The Cadet program teaches the value of community service and being a volunteer. There are many cadet drills that you will learn and be trained to utilize.  If you are interested in becoming a Fire or EMS cadet, please see Mrs. Longo for an application and more information regarding the drills.   4. Juniors The Junior class will be selling water at graduation. We are asking Juniors to donate a case of bottled water so that we can have a successful fundraiser. You can drop off bottled water in Mrs. Ceglarski's room (208) or Mrs. McCabe's room (227). Thanks for your support. (JC)

  5. Boys Soccer Any boy interested in playing soccer this fall is asked to be at an informational meeting today, Thursday, June 12 at 2:05 p.m. in Room 224. (LC) 

  6. Girls Soccer There will be a Girls Soccer Meeting at 2:45 p.m. today, Thursday, June 12 in Ms. Godbout’s Room 220. Any girl interested in playing soccer this Fall should attend. (GG)

  7. Wrestling There will be a meeting for all Wrestlers today, Thursday, June 12 in Room 211. Camps, clinics and captains will be discussed. (MB)

  8. Family & Consumer Sciences Club Our last Family and Consumer Sciences Club meeting will be held today, Thursday, June 12 from 2:15-3:45 in Room 10. We will be gathering ideas for next year and creating a small craft project or food item. All are welcome. Please see Mrs. Moskowitz in Room 10 or Mrs. Twiggs in Room 14 with any questions. (TT)

  13. Staff The Board of Education has authorized tomorrow, Friday, June 13 as a Dress Down Day to raise funds for Jake. Jake is a 6 year old Ivy Drive student who at 22 months was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) , an incurable degenerative neuromuscular disease that affects all the muscles in his body. It will cost approximately $30,000 to get their family van modified. Jake is getting too big for his car seat and will soon need to stay in his wheelchair while being transported . Anyone wishing to participate in this fundraiser should give their contributions to Maggie Daniels in the Main Office. Checks can be made out to the Jake Small Fund. Jake and his family THANK YOU from the bottoms of their hearts.

  14. Staff & Students Today, Thursday, June 12 is the last week we will be meeting for tutoring homework. All grades and subjects are welcome. No need to sign up in advance, just show up with your work! A late bus is available. Questions? See Ms. Rossier in Guidance.

Cost to Walk is $5.00 per person DEDICATE A LUMINARY BAG FOR $3.00 HELP US LIGHT UP THE FIELD!! Glow stick necklaces for sale for $1.00. There will be Pizza and drinks for Sale! Raffles and music while you walk! (VG)
