Steps taken to ensure credibility to PGS –India : New outreach • Participatory Guarantee System-India (-India) portal revamped- crops, beekeeping, livestock wild harvest, processing& handling • PKVY portal /MIS of PKVY developed • State seed certification agencies can act as RCs • Distinct roles for service providers and RCs • NCOF/ RCOFs – technical backstopping and monitoring • Sample testing for pesticides • 100% traceability of organic produce through UID

FSSAI Regulation for Organic products - winning the confidence of consumer • FSSAI guidelines: Organic products-NPOP or PGS-India • PGS-India logo and Jaivik Bharat logo • FSSAI Logo with Registration/ Licence No • UID Code or Certification no. along with URL for consumer verification 100 % Traceability by consumer up to production level
