Exam Information • Prepare an “exploratory” lecture on a topic either from our lectures or HW. • You lecture should be around 20 min. • Prepare PPT and a handout. • Your grade is accessed on (a) Your understanding of the topic. (b) Your presentation. (c) The design of your “exploratory” questions. (d) The difficulty of your topic.
Old Papers • Do not give away your old papers to anyone. • In order to get consistent assessment, similar type of problems probably will be in each year’s exams.
Course Evaluations • Fill in the survey. It usually takes less than 5 min. • The survey will not be available to your instructor until the final grades are submitted.
“Opt Out” Final Exam • You can opt out from the final exam if… • Your x > 72% x= max (E1, E2, E3)
“Opt Out” Final Exam • You can substitute the proportion of your highest exam grade as the final exam grade if • You fill in the course evaluation before 5pm today and email me you want to opt out • You come to the final exam and fill in a form. • You will need to participate in the “lectures” • Your final grade cannot exceed 20 points. • (I reserve the rights to amend the above requirements)
