Welcome to the 2013 Open House: Exploring 16 Years of U.S. History Teaching Excellence

Join us for the 2013 Open House, celebrating 16 years of dedicated teaching by RCK graduate Matthew Paino. With a major in U.S. History and a minor in Secondary Education from Stonehill College, Mr. Paino has guided students through the intricacies of U.S. History and Government. This year, students will engage with current topics that affect our future voters while developing informed opinions on various issues, political parties, and candidates. Participation is key, with diverse assignments and discussions designed to enhance learning!

  3. In-Class final at the end of the course (20% of the final grade) 1st Marking Period counts twice (40%) and 2nd Marking Period counts twice (40%) Everything is worth points (projects, participation, discussions, quizzes, tests) Total points earned / total points for the quarter Government

  4. Major Assignments Community Service Board Meeting 2 presentations Discussion (attendance in class is a must!!!) Government

  5. My goal is to provide information for the future voters on current topics that will effect our country. I would like the students to develop an opinion on the issues, the political parties, and candidates. Government

  6. The class will also learn how the different levels of government interact. Also, the students will learn the roles and job that each branch of government has. Government
