Seams and Stitches Stitching seams and classes are not visible. In most high designer clothing, the stitching is sealed and hidden from the consumer eye. They use lining, piping, and other materials to conceal any visible seam lines. This is what you notice in high quality and designer clothing.

Difficulties • We were allowed to take more pictures and actually note the seams in the budget level jackets. You can notice this level has several pictures of one jacket rather than just one. • In designer and medium level, it has harder to see seams, if not impossible. It was very difficult to receive pictures. We had to sketch some instead.
Quality Overall, the quality of the garments were the biggest difference. The location, store, brand name, and price level were the key indicators of quality.
