  5. Mission: Total redemptive purpose of God Missions: The redemptive activity of God’s people Redemptive activity means sharing the gospel so people can meet the real Jesus: John 14:6, John 3:16

  6. Definition of Contextual Evangelism- Communicate the uncompromised gospel of Jesus in the social, cultural, and linguistic context of the hearer so he or she may respond and disciple others through a local church

  12. Evangelistic Church Growth Strategy 1. Reclaim the church as a house of prayer with a passion for lost people (Matt 21:13, Luke 19:10.) 2. Create a purpose statement through a Missions/Evangelism Committee. 3. Learn about the people in the community of the church. 4. Identify who will help you reach them.

  13. 5. Determine how to reach them. Develop a yearly evangelism calendar. Develop prospect files. Set yearly baptism goals to get to 1:10 Create or renew weekly outreach and visitation. 6. Remain focused on the gospel message. 7. Provide ongoing schools of prayer and evangelistic ministries. 8. Communicate. 9. Perform yearly analysis and change.

Sponsor a block party. Begin a Bible study in your home. Share a Christian book. Host a backyard Bible club. Take a co-worker to a Christmas/Easter musical/drama. Ways to Share Jesus in Mobile

  17. Conclusion MBA goal is to pray for and share Jesus with every person in Mobile County by 2012. Find the ways that you can provide evangelistic ministry for the people where you live, work and play Find some ways to help people meet Jesus
