  2. Child hood • César Estrada Chávez was born in Yuma, AZ on March 31, 1927. • As a child he never made it past the 8th grade, he and his family would pick peas and lettuce during the winter, cherries and beans during the spring, corn and grapes in the summer.

  3. Fighting for the rights of migrants • In 1962 César Chávez had founded the National Farm Workers Association, that later became the United Farm Workers. • César met Richard which then made their flag with the Aztec eagle and it was their unique symbol to them. • As then César gave the workers pride to work and their own high spoken dignity.

  4. How César Chávez changed lives • As then César made sure that all immigrants had the equal rights as the whites. • He took charge to change this due to the act that Martin Luther King Jr. did and followed with the rights for workers.
