  2. Scope of Project • 650+ iPads for students • 140+ iPads for Certified Staff(Primarily Classroom Teachers) • 23 Mobile Carts for Charging and Syncing • Each iPad comes with a protective case and $50 allowance for ‘Apps’ • Video Adaptors or AppleTV for Staff

  3. The ‘Apps’ • Splashtop Interactive Whiteboard • SmartBoard/Mobi-like App • Skyward Mobile • Attendance, Grade Entry, Online Assignments • iWork Series, including pages(ePub creation) • eClicker/vClicker/Student Response System • Apps for individual skill development – Too many to list! • Custom MCCSC Apps Coming Soon!

  4. Implementation Plan • Teacher iPads Deployed in November • Student iPads Deployed in January • Each school will have 2 iPad Geniuses • We will be using the Train the Trainer Model • ‘App’ purchasing will be determined by the curriculum department and building principal • Staff and Student Use Policies are being revised and updated to accommodate
