Financial Management Consolidation National Center for Critical Information Processing & Storage Current Business Environment Current Business Environment • Sponsoring agency: Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVO) • Contractor Support: • Prime Contractor - SAIC • O&M Sub Contractor - Applied Enterprise Solutions • Congressional Disaster Preparedness and Government IT consolidation initiative • Initial site located at the NASA Stennis Space Center, Stennis, MS • Future sites planned for Plano, TX, Kentucky, and Western United States • Current customers: DHS, NARA, DOT, & DOD for administrative support activities • Funding to agencies directed to NCCIPS for Shared Service IT infrastructure support

Financial Management Consolidation National Center for Critical Information Processing & Storage Organizational Alignment Organizational Alignment • NCCIPS is currently under the Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVO) • NAVO is an Echelon 4 command in the Navy • NCCIPS is very successful and growing very fast. • NCCIPS is larger than NAVO • NAVO does not have the organizational infrastructure to run a program of this size • NCCIPS organizational transfer is under consideration
