Jesus said to her, "Give Me a drink.“ (WATER) Common interests which include, • Family (such as children, grandchildren) • Activities (such as work, community projects, hobbies) • Shared experiences (such as travel, or even tragedies)

AROUSE A SPIRITUAL INTEREST:John 4:9-10 John 4:10 Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the Gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.“ (NKJV)(LIVING WATER) 1 Pet 3:1-2,15; John 4:10-15, Act 13:16-22

Be open to comments that indicate a spiritual interest,while demonstrating your own faith through actions and words d. Avoid fruitless arguments, emphasize instead common beliefs e. Praise their good points and encourage them in the right direction f. Have one primary objective -Bible,Jesus Christ, & Church

  10. THE POTENTIAL OF PERSONAL EVANGELISM LESSION FOR US IN PERSONAL EVANGELISM g. Confront them directly with the opportunity to present Jesus Christ, BIBLE, Salvation • Continue to develop the social contact • Continue to establish common interests • Take time to emphasize common ground you share in your spiritual interests • Carefully Go from common ground to uncommon ground. • Stress the gospel message; don't possess on their individual shortcomings • Have one primary objective: SALVATION
