IEEE 802.15.4a标准草案通过 • IEEE日前宣布,美国亚特兰大市举行的IEEE 802全体会议(Plenary Meeting)无线个人区域网络(WPAN)标准化分会期间,该组织已经全体通过世界上第一项低速率无线个人区域网络(WPAN)的标准草案——IEEE 802.15.4a。 • 据悉,该联合提案与其它IEEE802.15.4a UWB提案(低速率)进行了成功的融合(Merge),并在此基础上被进一步接纳为唯一候选提案,又顺利通过了其后的信任投票(Confirmation voting)而成为IEEE 802.15.4a标准草案。张宏纲指出,这是在无线个人区域网络UWB标准化领域,由中欧双方合作提交的标准提案“首次获得圆满成功”。2005年03月24日(电子工程专辑)

Haier wireless HDTV with UWB • Haier and Freescale Semiconductor are introducing the world's first UWB-enabled LCD HDTV • Freescale's UWB technology can transfer multiple high-definition (HD) or MPEG2 movie streams (max. 110Mbps) over distances of up to 20 meters. This enables consumers to place the DVD player and Media Server away from the TV • The Haier wireless LCD HDTV has a 37" panel with 1080i resolution.
