Age and HCC in HIV-Infected Patients • Compared to younger HIV-infected patients with HCC, patients ≥ 50 years • are more frequently black • tend to have chronic hepatitis C • tend to present more frequently with multiple rather than solitary tumors • tend to receive effective HCC therapy less often • tend toward shorter survival (p= 0.11) Braü et al.
