  1. Past NRD Case Assessments Natural Resource Damages Assessment and Restoration in Massachusetts Executive Office Of Environmental Affairs Objective: The Executive Office of Environmental Affairs (EOEA) is responsible for implementing a program to assess NRD resulting from releases of oil or hazardous materials and to require restoration of these injured resources to functional ecological systems. As steward of the state's natural resources, EOEA is committed to implementing a comprehensive NRD program which requires polluters restore injured resources and to compensate the public for the inability to use and enjoy those resources.
