  3. LIMERICKS LIMERICKS LIMERICKS • THERE HUMOROUS VERSES WHICH ARE MADE UP OF 5 LINES. THEY FOLLOW THE RHYME PATTERN AA BB C. Ex: There was a dog. His name is Bob. His father is a bear. He has a lot of hair. This is Bob’s story.

  4. CINQUIAN AN UNRHYMED POEM CONSISTING OF 5 FORMATED LINES. THE FORMAT 1 WORD TOPIC 2 DESCRIBING WORDS 3 ACTION WORDS A 4 WORD PHRAE A SYNONIM FOR THE TOPIC. EX: DOGS SOFT, CUTE LOVIG ,BARKING ,SLEEPING DOGS ARE ALWAYS CARING PETS

  5. ACROSTIC NAME PETRY IS WRITTEN IN A NON-RHYMING ACROSTIC FORM. THE LETTERS OF A NAME FORM THE FRIST LETTER OF EACH LINE OF THE POEM. EX: Dogs are dependable. Out of this world. Great for pets.
