2. Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

3. I. God calls us to be Transformed NOT Conformed Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

4. TRANSFORMED "Metamorphosis”, a continual process of change from inside out

5. “If the world controls your thinking, you are a conformer; if God controls your thinking, you are a transformer.”

6. II. God Desires to Renew my mind… 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

7. II. God Desires to Renew my mind… Titus 3:5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,

12. III. LIFEgroup Transformation – “Community”

Acts 2:42-47 42 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

14. What do you do at a LIFEgroup?

17. 3. We eat together Acts 2:46 “They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts”

19. 5. We encourage each other Acts 2:44-45 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.

20. 6. Transformed: Impacting the World for Christ Acts 2:47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

We must Choose to set worthy Goals Philippians 3:12-14 12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
