God Wants Us To Be Pure • Purity pleases God 1 Thessalonians 4:1-5 English Standard Version (ESV) A Life Pleasing to God 4 Finally, then, brothers,[a] we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, just as you are doing, that you do so more and more. • He commands it. 2For you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus. 3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification:[b] that you abstain from sexual immorality; 4 that each one of you know how to control his own body[c] in holiness and honor

Your Body Is Not Your Own • Your body is meant for God. 1 Corinthians 6:12-20 English Standard Version (ESV) Flee Sexual Immorality 19Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price.   5. Discussion Questions Why does purity matter? Why wait to have sex before marriage? Are you living your life in purity? Do you think the way you are living your life would be pleasing to God? 4. How important is purity to you? How important is purity to God? What’s the problem with having sex with other people before you are married? Who does that affect? What are some of the affects of having sex with other people before you are married?
