  14. Thetownofwhiteroses • The symbol and the coat of arms of our town is a white rose.In summer you can see lots of roses blooming in the parks and streets of our town.

  15. Alytus has 48 000 of inhabitants. There are 8 basic schools and 4 gymnasiums in our town. We also have a Music School and Art School. There are several enterprises working in our town.

  16. Alytus Mound • The main tourist attraction in our town is the Mound. In the 14th century there was a wooden castle standing on the top of it. Now you need to go 254 steps up to get to the top of the mound.
