Who We Are Activities Who we are - Introduction • Was established in 1983 as a private and non-for-profit association • Since 1983, FKII has contributed to spurring the growth of the IT industry and informatization of Korea and played a key role as a beacon of the Korean IT industry to lead the smart IT era. • It consists of morea than 200 companies ranging from device manufacturing, software and IT service to telecommunications. The Most Dynamic, Influential, and Global Association in Korean ICT Community

Who we Are Activities Activities ▌Policy Recommendation : Presenting the vision and direction for the future ICT industry • Proposing policy agendas on ICT to the government and Paliament • Forecasting the rapidly changing ICT market and its environment ▌ International Cooperation : Establishing Korea as a force to reckon with in the global ICT industry • Accelerating international cooperation through the Multilateral network [WITSA, ASOCIO, etc], Bilateral network [U.S., Japan, India, etc] • Encouraging ICT companies to pursue overseas expansion and globalization [Trade & Investment, Business Partnership, etc]

Who we Are Activities ▌Marketing and Promotion : Supporting members to stay ahead in the market • Promoting software companies by presenting the "Korea Software Award“ and spreading “Good Software” Certificate • Organizing seminars on Software, Mobile Business, Convergence IT, Digital media, etc. ▌ Human Resource Development : Cultivating competitive ICT leaders • Managing the ICT Mentoring program, industry-academy collaboration projects • for fostering talented IT manpower • Fostering ICT professionals in companies and universities through a variety of training courses and programs

Who we Are Activities ▌ CIO Forum of Korea pioneers ICT innovations. • Founded in 1997, it has grown into the most influential CIO community in Korea with members numbering approximately 700 • Organizing regular and special seminars designed to help CIOs capture new trends in IT ▌ Korea Embedded Software & System Industry Association(KESSIA) : Enabling the convergence of ICT and other industries • Founded in 2003 as the only private organization in the embedded software area • Organizing the World Embedded Software Contest for 11 years • Holding regular seminars and conducting comprehensive research on the industry to develop related policies
