  2. 卧龙自然保护区位于四川省阿坝藏族、羌族自治州汶川县西南部，距四川省会成都130公里，交通便利。卧龙自然保护区以“熊猫之乡”、“宝贵的生物基因库”、“天然动植物园”响誉中外，有着丰富的动植物资源和矿产资源。区内共分布着100多只大熊猫，约占全国总数的10%。被列为国家级重点保护的其它珍稀濒危动物金丝猴、羚牛等共有56种，其中属于国家一级重点保护的野生动物共有12种，二类保护动物 44种。据统计区内其它动物种类如：脊椎动物有450种，其中兽类103种，鸟类283种，两栖类21种，爬行类25种，鱼类18种；昆虫约1700种。
