  3. Objectives • Become familiar with guidelines for giving a TOEFL prep workshop • Learn about test-taking strategies and their importance for TOEFL preparation • Share resources and strategies for TOEFL practice

  4. Workshop Guidelines: • Review structure • Introduce ONE test-taking skill • PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE • Suggest self-study strategies

  5. It’s all about strategy… • What is a test-taking strategy/skill? • How is knowing how to take a test different than just knowing English? • Think about your experiences with standardized tests.
