GENERAL ENGLISH (GE) • 7 levels (Pre-elementary – Advanced) • Designed for students who want to improve their English language skills for social, work and academic situations • Course content focuses on the development of communication skills with a balance of speaking, listening, reading and writing tasks • GE classes are topic based, interactive and use a mixture of course materials including books, television, radio, CDs, DVDs and computer software • Students learn through class activities, individual, pair and small group work • GE levels 4-7 include Options Classes. Students can choose from the following options: • Academic or Business English • Conversation • IELTS Preparation • Movies and Songs

ENGLISH FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS COMMUNICATON (EIBC) • 2 levels (Higher Intermediate & Advanced) • Designed to develop confidence in using English to communicate with native and non-native speakers in real world business situations • Class exercises and projects are based around a weekly business theme such as Setting up a Business, Team Building, Negotiation, Marketing or Customer Service • EIBC classes use modern course books as well as listening and reading materials from the media, Internet and business journals • Course content includes: • Development of Business English skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) • Business Correspondence (letter writing, emails, promotional materials, faxes, reports) • Preparation and delivery of a business presentation using PowerPoint • Case studies, business meetings and role play activities

ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES (EAP) • 2 levels (Higher Intermediate & Advanced) • Designed to prepare students for academic study and success in the IELTS test • Develops academic language, study and research skills • Course content and materials reflect the type of activities and learning environment students will experience in a degree or academic study • Course content includes: • Academic reading and writing: students read and research academic texts and construct extended written texts • IELTS preparation: practise in all areas of the test, test taking strategies and timed practice tests • Audio-Visual: watching and discussion of documentary style programs to develop listening and vocabulary skills • Formal talks: organising, writing and delivering a spoken presentation • Listening and notetaking: a live weekly lecture

ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES: TESOL (ESP:TESOL) • 2 levels (Higher Intermediate & Advanced) • Designed for students who are considering becoming a teacher of English as a Second Language (ESL) or who are already ESL teachers in their own country • Develops English language skills through topics of general and TESOL-related content and includes preparation for the Cambridge ESOL Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) • Course content includes: • Development of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills through topics of general interest and TESOL-related content • Analysis and discussion of current methods for teaching English • Practice teaching • Guest Speaker/Site Visit • TKT Preparation. • ESP:TESOL I • Module 1: Language and background to language learning • KAL: Knowledge About Language • ESP:TESOL II • Module 2: Planning lessons and use of resources for language teaching • Module 3: Managing the teaching and learning process

ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES: TOURISM & HOSPITALITY (ESP:T&H) • 2 levels (Higher Intermediate & Advanced) • Designed for students who want to improve their English language skills for working in tourism and hospitality for a working holiday, a part-time job while studying or a professional career • Develops English language skills through topics of general interest as well as themes related to the tourism and hospitality industries • Lessons are based on themes such as : • English skills for hotel, bar and restaurant work • Customer satisfaction, handling bookings and making reservations • Tour guiding • Marketing and promotion • Writing resumes, application letters and job interview skills • Course content includes group projects, role plays and case studies to simulate real-life situations and practise English skills and one professional site visit or guest presentation per 5 week session.

ADVANCED ENGLISH: COMMUNICATION SKILLS (AECS) • Advanced Level • Designed to further develop the speaking and listening skills of students with advanced language skills • Course materials include advanced English course books, real-life television, radio shows and movies, magazines, journals, books and the Internet. • Course content includes: • Core Skills: Activities to develop speaking, listening and grammar skills • Advanced reading and writing skills • News and world affairs: listening, reading and discussion skills • Project work: Students undertake a class project which can involve writing and performing a live play, directing and filming a documentary or producing individual video diaries • Film appreciation • Lecture/Guest Speakers
