  8. e-Learning at Georgian educational institutions • Georgian universities are using open source software – Moodle system for e-learning. • System is used mainly to place courses, for communication between students and teachers, planning education process, self-assessment exercises, conducting learning individually, for testing and examination purposes. • In addition Ilia State University has YouTube channel (http://videochannel.iliauni.edu.ge) web portal, were the video lectures are uploaded in several categories.   14. Learning Management System (LMS) All universities have Learning Management System developed by the university staff or by local IT companies. There is no unique LMS used by all or significant number of universities. These systems are used for the administration of learning process (newcomers registration, registration to the subjects, grading, messaging system, quality control procedures, learning materials, wide range of statistics and etc.). Usually all professors, students and administrative personnel have access to the system. European solutions for LMS are not used in Georgia because of high price and difficulties in adaptation of systems to the university needs. MLS Project meeting, November 13-14, 2013, London
