Effects of TCDD Exposure on Akt and GSK3β Phosphorylation in HeLa and M059K Cell Lines

This study investigates the impact of TCDD (2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin) exposure on the phosphorylation of key signaling proteins, Akt and GSK3β, over two and four weeks in HeLa and M059K cell lines. We examine the corresponding effects on the expression of β-actin, DNA-PKcs, Ku70, and C-Myc, providing insights into the molecular mechanisms influenced by TCDD at varying doses (0.0, 0.01, 0.1 pM). These findings contribute to the understanding of TCDD's role in cellular signaling and potential implications in cancer biology.
