On Wednesday, the Hello World Industries team convened to assign tasks for our ongoing bioinformatics project. Under the leadership of Project Leader Shaun Calvert, code developers Jack Davies and David Starns worked collaboratively via email to refine our Perl code and focus on testing procedures in production. Various testing stages included using Google Code for file uploads and testing HTML code on localhost, with the team striving for enhanced user experience through bug fixes and a clearer interface. Future directions include integrating multiple databases and developing additional tools for bioinformatics research.
