  4. GHAFFAR MARKET,KAROL BAGH • The bomb was composed of ammonium nitrate,gun powder, ball bearings & timing devices. • 13 killed ,50 hurt. • Bomb was placed ina three wheeler CNG filled auto ,which was busting with people.

  5. Injured people included shopkeepers, labourers and jewellery artisans.

  6. CENTRAL PARK • Out of two bombs one was diffused but one exploded.. • 4 killed, 10 hurt. • The bomb was placed in nearby dustbin.

  7. BARAKHAMBA ROAD • Two bombs were succesively triggered in a dustbin near gate no.1 of barkhamba road ,metro station. • Thirteen people were killed. • Mohammed Shaqil planted bomb

  8. EFFECTS ON DAY TO DAY LIFE IMMEDIATEEFFECTS – • There was terror & chaos all around in the air. • Business & market place got affected,shops were closed. • Mobile communication logjammed. • Metros & railways were stopped but resumed later.

  9. sustaineffects SUSTAINED EFFECTS_- Volunteers from political party rushed to the hospitals in the search of credit with the t-shirts potrayed of their leaders . E-shopping got enhanced but this inversely affected the street shopkeepers & vendors. Police decided to raid Batla house in Jamia Nagar.

  10. SUSPECTS BEHIND THE SERIAL BLASTS

  11. SaqibNisar was arrested on Sep 21 from Jamia Nagar. At techie, Saqib(23) was accused being part of recce of Karol Bagh blasts and networking activities. He was an MBA student of Sikkim Manipal university .

  12. Zia-ur-Rehman was arrested on September 21 from Jamia Nagar. A third year BA student in JamiaMilia university, Zia (22) is accused of placing bombs in Connaught Place and on a cycle in Ahmedabad. Police claim he also provided logistical support to Atif.

  13. Mohammad Shakeel was arrested on September 21 from Jamia Nagar. A 24-year-old final year student of MA Economics at Jamia, Shakeel is accused of placing bombs in Gaffar market in Karol Bagh.

  14. Mohammed Sajid alias Pankaj was Killed during the Jamia Nagar encounter. Just 16-years-old, he was the second of the Barakhmabad bombers along with Zeeshan.

  15. MEHRAULI BOMB BLAST • It was black Saturday exactly 2 weeks after serial blast near Auliamasjid in south delhi . • A Tiffen bomb which was thrown by bike riders killed 9-year old boy & 25 injured. • Police ruled out the involvement of Indian Mujahideen .

  16. POLITICAL DRAMAS AFTER BLAST • When the entire nation recognises the sacrifice of inspector M.C. Sharma as a supreme service for the country ,the SP leader Amar Singh expressed doubts over the genuineness of the encounter and remarked his killing as done by his colleagues only. • This was just a political gimmick to attract votes. • Mohammed Saif son of the SP leader, involved in CP bomb blast.

  17. PRECAUTIONS • Intelligence agencies must be equipped with new technologies and vigilency to pace up with the high technologies used by the terrorists. • Moral values must be enhanced. Humanity and nationmust be treated above all religions . • Cops must be quite active and should use new & reliable tools.

  18. Common man must be quite aware about the surroundings and must never touch the unclaimed objects. • The manner of vigilency & activeness to deal such situations must be taught at primary level.

  19. CONCLUSION It has been embarassing fact that even well educated techies in the country are easily drawn in the name of jihadis .Therefore for the sake of humanity the teachings of religion which are meant for common welfare must not be oriented as provocative ideas that lead to blood shed of common man.
