Leading Multinational Bank, India PeopleSoft EPM Financial – FTP – Multi-Country Roll Out - Implementation & Support Business Situation Business Benefits • Customer is one among the very few banks implementing this version of PeopleSoft EPM module • Data profiling job done by Hexaware team is a definite value add to the customer as this was accomplished within the budgeted effort • FTP model execution automated and right time delivery • Improved profitability through improved pricing • Enhanced asset/liability management • Provided uniform methodology across all countries • To better utilize the available funds, build a generic framework and roll out Fund Transfer Pricing algorithm across Treasury department in different countries • Enable rate calculation to daily basis • Ensure data availability to the central management on the funds and the rates cards Solution & Engagement Model Technology • Hexaware team has implemented PeopleSoft FTP enabling the customer to automate the process of computation of the funds transfer pricing cost. • It has also been coupled with the generation of cash flows for reporting to the Asset Liability Management (ALM) desk. • A Staging warehouse was built to extract, transform, and load the TP interface files into the EPM for FTP calculation, and to store the calculated values for analysis and reporting. • Hexaware’s rich experience in managing PeopleSoft applications helped in delivering the requirements very rapidly with additional reports that exceeded the business user expectation Technologies • Suite: PeopleSoft 8.9 EPM suite, FTP Analytics Module • ETL Tool: Ascential DataStage 7.5 Enterprise • Reporting Tools : Hyperion Essbase, SQR • File Transfer Medium for TP systems - ISIS, OpenSSH Statistics Statistics • Roll-out: 2 initial, 6 country completed and rest 24 countries to be rolled out • Transaction Processing Systems: 7 (each country) • Volume : 1 million data (from each country) & 30 reports
