Explain each quotation and discuss its relevance. If it is not dialogue, explain the significance and what it means/foreshadows • Constructed Responses • Safety policy change • Portfolio must be bound/notebook ***Creativity, neatness, and thoroughness***

Constructed Responses – English 2 HYou must provide textual evidence for support~ These will be included in your portfolio ~Choose two from the topics below: • Discuss the major theme of the story and explain its development/progression over the course of the novel. • Analyze the development of characters over the course of the novel. Choose three major characters as a focal point of your response. • Analyze and discuss how the author uses change in time/flashbacks within the novel. Determine their function and contribution to the novel. • Argue whether or not the portrayal of the characters and their experiences were as you predicted. What would you have liked to see differently? (Approximately: 200-250 words each)
