  2. Pigs in SPACE Miss Piggy from The Muppet Show! First appeared on The Muppet Show during the second season. 32 episodes over four seasons. Pigs in Space began with an introduction featuring the crew's commanding roster. Check out more information about the movie Muppets in Space.

  3. SPACE the final frontier StarTrek • The Original series • The Next Generation • Deep Space Nine • Voyager • Enterprise My Favorite

  4. Deep SPACE Nine I could never understand what the big deal was about Star Trek until I started watching Deep Space Nine. One of my all time favorite shows! Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (DS9) focuses on the 24th century adventures of Captain Benjamin Sisko on space station Deep Space 9, an outpost situated near the mouth of a stable wormhole on the far reaches of explored space.

  5. SPACEbetween my ears I’m not sure if it’s because I am getting older or because the plots are just not interesting but nowadays I tend to prefer reality shows to any kind of fiction. No I don’t mean Jersey Shores, Housewives of some random city or Honey Boo Boo – I have so much junk in my house I can’t get to the door. I am fascinated by most shows on the discovery and science channels especially if they are concerning space; micro and macro. It was bittersweet to see the end of the space shuttle mission. On the other hand, it is inspiring to see feats such as that accomplished by Felix Baumgartner. I’m happy to see that companies like Red Bull are putting some of their earnings towards research and development. Yes I know that there was a lot of publicity involved but necessity is the mother of invention. Today our basic needs are provided for, at least in our country, which leaves us time, energy and resources to reach further, “where no man has gone before”*! Too Much Text *line from opening of Star Trek movies and episodes

  6. Felix in SPACE On October 14, 2012 in New Mexico, Felix Baumgartner broke the speed of sound when jumping out of a capsule in the stratosphere. After 9 minutes and 3 seconds (preliminary data) from jump to landing, Felix touched the ground safely with a perfect landing. • Preliminary figures (awaiting official record data) • Altitude reached: 128,097 feet • Total time from jump to landing: 9 min. 3 seconds • Freefall duration: 4 min. 19 seconds • Speed: 1137 km per hour

  7. SPACE Shuttle Endeavour California Homecoming! - Main engines - San Fernando Valley, CA - Heat tiles - Silicon Valley, CA - “Fly-by-wire” technology - Downey, CA - Assembled - Mojave Desert, CA Is the Endeavour getting a wash on it’s way to the California Science Center? No way, all those dings are part of history! I remember when the Challenger blew up. I lived in Florida and was on my way to work and saw a Y in the sky but didn’t make much of it until I walked into the office and everyone was freaking out. • Replaced Challenger, which blew up during liftoff in 1986. • Circumnavigated the Earth • 4,700 times. • Final resting place • California Science Center.
