  2. Sponges • Sponges live in the ocean and in streams. • Sponges is the simplest kind of invertebrates meaning they have no brain. • There special body part is there outer covering.

  3. Segmented Worms • Cold blooded means they can not control there body temperature • All worms are cold blooded • Earth worms body covering is slimy.

  4. Round Worm • Most round worms live in other animals body. This means they are a parasite. • Round worms are cold blooded. • Special body parts are :Head, tail.

  5. Flat Worm • Flat worms are cold blooded. • Special body parts are head & tail. • Some flat worms live in other animals body.

  6. Arthropods • They live in most parts of the U.S.A. • There are over 1 million species like scorpians, spiders, ticks, and fleas. • They have an exoskeloton. • The 4 groups of Arthropods are 1. Centipedes & Milipedes 2. Crustaceans 3. Arachnids 4. Insects

  7. Insects • Special body parts antennae , one or two pairs of wings & three pairs of legs. • Species are bee , moth , beetles & praying mantis.

  8. Arachnids • They have two body sections. • Species including spiders & ticks. • Arachnids have four pairs of legs.

  9. Crustaceans • Species crabs & shrimp. • Special body parts two pairs of antennae.

  10. Centipedes & Millipedes • Centipedes have 1 pair of legs on each body section. • Millipedes have two pairs of legs on each body section. • There special body parts are there antennaes, legs.

  11. Cnidarians • Most cnidarians live in the sea. • They live in salt or fresh water. • Special body parts Stinging cells. • Some species are jellyfish and coral.

  12. Mollusks • Mollusks live in or near water. • Some species are clams, snails, slugs, mussels, or octopus. • Special Body Parts are their shells and their foot that helps them move.

  13. Echinoderms • Some Echinoderms have bilateral symmetry. • They have an endoskeloton. • Some species are starfish, sanddollars, & crinoids. • Stomach • This is a picture of a sea urchin
