  1. Holocaust Experiences • Palestine Newspaper Homework Task • Name: Class: • Due Date: Your task is to act a as a reporter’s view for ‘The Palestine Newspaper’. You will have to write newspaper articles for 3 key days in Palestine’s history. This should be created in this blank booklet. There is a blank page designated for each newspaper front page. It can include photos. The dates that you will have to create newspaper front pages for are: • 14th May 1948- The Creation of Israel • 15th May 1948- The Start of the Arab-Israeli War • 20th July 1949- Boundaries of the State of Palestine Created For each newspaper front page you will need to include: • A title • An article saying what has happened- this should bea summary of events • An article giving the editor’s view- talk about how these events will affect Palestine and give your view on these consequences- remember you are writing from the point of view of a Palestinian who would be angry at anything which tries to take land away from Palestine As you know nothing about this topic its is crucial you visit the ‘Causes of 9/11’ page on the Year 9 Wikispace to conduct all your research: • http://highfieldhistoryyear9.wikispaces.com/ • If you cannot access the internet please ask your teacher for paper resources.
